Bamboo Backed Hickory Longbow
One of our toughest hunting bows that can take the punishment of the outdoors. comes 68-70 " long . This tough longbow is made from solid sapwood hickory, and backed with Moso Chinese Bamboo. This bow isTough as nails . Bamboo is much stronger in tensil strength than any of the other bow woods out there. Adds beauty and durability. Draw weights are available up to 65#. If you need a bow lighter than 30#, just specify so in the "optional instructions" when ordering. Arrow rest for right or left handed shooters.

Red Oak English Long Bow
The custom English Style Longbows are
modeled after those made of white woods, such as Elm or Ash. These were
occasionally used when Yew wood was not available. These woods were not as
elastic as Yew and required a slightly different tiller in order to
function properly. Bows made from these woods also did not require horn
nocks as the wood was considerably harder than Yew. It is a great bow for
target shooting, hunting, or reenactment.
The bow is 72 inches in length and up to 1 1/2 inches in width at the
handle, with a maximum draw weight
of 45 pounds Maximum and under, please specify in space provided when
ordering. . The bow is flat on
the back, round on the belly, and is made from Red Oak backed with linen.
The bow is permanantly finished and needs no maintenance

Famous Sudbury Indian Bow
Wampanoag Indian bow from the year 1660
This famous bow belonged to an unfortunate Wampanoag Indian who was shot by a settler in Sudbury MA in 1660. The settler passed the bow down as a family heirloom.
This bow is roughly 68- 70" tip to tip so that it can handle the longer modern draw lengths and roughly 1 1/2 - 1 3/4" wide at its widest point for stability.

Penobscot Indian Bow
This is an excellent bow with a super sweet draw !
Draw weights available up to 65#@31" maximum and below. Please specify in space provided when ordering.
To adjust the draw weight simply put the bow on a bench with each tip set on a 1" thick block of wood. Now clamp the handle down to the bench bending the limbs slightly backward. This will relieve the string pressure. Take the old string off and twist it 2 -3 turns tighter. Unclamp bow and replace 1" block with a 2" block, Re-clamp handle down and replace the string. The draw weight will increase . Use up to a 4" inch block . The tighter the back strings the higher the draw weight of the entire bow. Piece of cake!!
